I know what it’s like to be a tired hygienist — because I’ve lived it.
Every day, we show up for our patients, our teams, and our families… often putting ourselves last.
Over time, we start to normalize the whispers (and eventually the screams) from our bodies: fatigue, thyroid dysfunction, joint pain, back pain, and brain fog.
We push it aside and keep going — because that’s what we’ve been trained to do.
But there comes a point when "pushing through" just isn’t sustainable anymore.
I reached that point. And my healing journey led me to something I never expected: the power of functional medicine.
I wasn’t well. I was exhausted. My periods were irregular, and something just felt… off.
One doctor told me my ovaries were "riddled with cysts" and that I’d never be able to have children.
Another diagnosed me with Hashimoto’s. When I asked what I could do about it, he shrugged and said:
"Nothing. Eventually your thyroid will burn out, and we’ll put you on Synthroid."
Those weren’t the answers I was willing to accept.
I knew there had to be another way — something deeper, something more hopeful.
That’s when I stepped beyond the limits of conventional care and started exploring other healing traditions.
I moved to India and trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, and eventually returned to the U.S. to study root-cause healing at the School of Applied Functional Medicine.
As I began to restore my energy, balance my hormones, and reconnect with my body, I realized this journey wasn’t just about me anymore.
It was about all of us — those who are told their symptoms are "normal," the ones pushing through burnout, the ones dismissed, misdiagnosed, or left without options.
Today, I help dental professionals uncover the root causes behind their fatigue, chronic autoimmune disorders, and inflammation.
Using functional medicine principles, I support healthcare providers, like you with personalized, science-backed strategies that work in real life — not just on paper.
Because when we feel better, we live better.
And you deserve more than just getting through the day —
you deserve to thrive.
